"Canti e Raccunti"
Once again "Canti e Raccunti", with the help of
Regione Sicilia, brings on tour the music "made in Sicily", which links the musical roots with actual songwriting.
Guido Politi, with his songs answers to the traditional melodies proposed by Matilde
Politi, with the accompaniment of Gabriele Politi and Simona di Gregorio.
The meeting at Womex 10, Copenhagen, with the Greek group
Encardia, which plays the music from Salento in Grecanic, the Italian dialect coming directly from Greek, originated the idea to mix up together in an original concert.
We will explore together the musical traces that link our Mediterranean cultures, on the rhythm of frame drums, accordeons, guitars, and castanets.
